Rajiv makes these high-fired porcelain pieces once a year, in the fall, with his pottery mentor Guy Wolff. Inspired by late 18th/early 19th century Amercian pewter drinking cups, these beakers were thrown by Rajiv on the wheel before being dipped into celadon glaze by Guy and then fired to cone 10 in a propane-fuelled kiln on the Wolff property. Signed RS, dated 2024.
Rajiv considers these pieces to be some of the finest wares he's made in his twenty plus years of producing pottery.
Approximately 3.5" wide, 4" tall. Please note that the beakers all vary slightly in coloring and shape.
