This female figure was painted by Rajiv during a two-week workshop in figure painting at an art school in Florence Italy. The methods taught during this course (and used to paint this figure) included a limited palette of just five colors and sight-size, a technique used by Rajiv's favorite painter, John Singer Sargent.
This painting is oil on linen canvas (made by Zecchi in Florence) and is framed in a solid wood black frame, made in New York City. Signed and dated.
